This is the society that we currently live in and as humans. We are visual creatures. So we tend to make initial assumptions about people based on what we can see.
Some would argue that this isn’t fair. Some would argue that this puts many guys at a huge disadvantage in terms of overall attractiveness, and maybe even life in general.
And both of these things are true. But rather than complaining that it’s unfair, why not change it, why not bend the rules of reality a little bit to level the playing field so to speak.
Right now you could be making one of four image mistakes or mistakes that affect your image as a man. And the way that other people perceive you. And at the highest level, they say that image is everything.
And your image is simply information that you convey about yourself to other people. Often times at an unconscious level. And if you’re making these mistakes what’s going to happen is that you’re going to cheat yourself out of opportunities.
But more importantly, you’ll accidentally play to your weaknesses rather than your strengths. Every single one of us was born with or developed unique gifts or unique strengths that make us, who we are. And the more that we can play to these natural strengths.
The better overall we can do. When it comes to things like females, business, relationships, and all aspects of life. So with that said let’s get right into it.
#1.STANDING OUT TOO MUCH
One of the top mistakes a man can make when it comes to image and it’s standing out too much. One of the most powerful things that a man can do is stand out from the crowd.
And as men, we’re always trying to unconsciously do this for several reasons. This is why some men prefer to drive exotic cars and it’s the same reason why? Since almost the beginning of mankind.
Men have covered themselves with precious metals and jewels like gold and diamonds and emeralds. And the reality is that the world is filled with people who don’t mind blending in or men who don’t mind being just another face in the crowd.
So when people see a man who truly stands out in a unique way. Especially females all sorts of good signals start going off inside of their heads. But one of the most common mistakes that a man can make that dramatically affects his image is standing out too much.
And when you do this. You go from conveying mystery in value to looking like a low value borderline creepy kind of guy. Now, remember people judge you first with their eyes. So looking at what you are wearing.
But rather than giving you advice in that area. I’ll go ahead and let teach you how to style yourself. Because they definitely know their stuff, when it comes to style that stands out.
Basically one of the biggest mistakes that men make is standing out too much in terms of the clothes that they wear. And even more importantly the way that they behave. Now as always there is a thin line between talking too much or talking too little.
Dressing up too much or dressing too little depending on the situation. What we want to do is stand out among other men. But we don’t want to stand out so much. That we end up looking like a clown or something.
#2.NOT ‘PLAYING UP’ YOUR FEATURES
Another mistake that men unknowingly make. When it comes to their image is not playing up their futures. As I mentioned earlier every single one of you reading this right now. Have some natural features that make you unique. And you can get a good feel for this just by looking in the mirror.
And by highlighting these features. You can significantly increase your attractiveness or your image. But the information that you convey to other people about yourself. And on the flip side failing to highlight your natural strengths or futures will eliminate what could be a huge advantage for you?
Think about this almost every single female on the planet spends at least an hour. Every single morning highlighting her natural features and in fact, she will even spend time actively concealing her physical flaws.
This is what the multi-billion dollar makeup industry was created for. It was literally created to help women transform their appearance to better attract men. Now obviously I’m not telling you to wear makeup.
But in the same way that women use and other beauty products to dramatically improve their appearance and highlight their best futures. Men can achieve the same goal in other ways. Something simple like making sure that your hairstyle matches the shape of your face or choosing to not grow a beard.
If you can’t grow thick good looking hair. Can have a dramatic impact on your images as a man. Now other things like knowing how to highlight a strong jawline. Or a mesmerizing set of eyes. Can truly set you apart and significantly improve your own image.
If you worked hard to build muscles wear clothes that highlight these assets rather than clothes that hide them. One of the most powerful aspects of playing up your futures is simply knowing what type of man you fit into best.
A lot of men aren’t very attractive. But have very masculine features that make them great candidates for the bad boy archetype. Other men have softer more feminine features and it would be very difficult for them to play the role of the bad boys. Simply because of their appearance and their behavior would not be congruent with each other.
So figure out what your greatest strengths are and your greatest physical features are. And make sure to play up or to highlight those features in whatever ways that you can. If you happen to be bald and have a lot of trouble pulling off the bad boy look something as simple as wearing a hat.

Many men end up achieving the complete opposite effect and they end up coming off like you’re trying too hard. And trying too hard is an easy way to scream to everybody around you that you are incredibly desperate. And this completely destroys any positive image that you could have.
Now in terms of clothing trying too hard is the guy who wears a shirt so tight that rather than highlighting his muscles. It looks more like he’s trying to suffocate them. In terms of appearance trying too hard is the guy who has so many tattoos all over his face.
That he looks like something out of a horror movie. Now the last thing that you want to be is the guy who looks like he spent more time than his girlfriend getting ready for the party.
But even more important than your clothes and your physical image is the mental aspect of your image. Other people especially females place far more weight on the mental aspects of your image compared to the clothes that you wear or something like your hairstyle.
And trying too hard comes in many many flavors when it comes to the mental side of things. And one of the common mistakes that a man can make that involves trying too hard. That has the potential to completely destroy his image is actually very subtle and it’s trying to act tough.
Now I get it as men we all want to act tough to an extent. But there’s always a boundary not just for this. But for any behavior and you definitely don’t want to cross it. Examples of trying too hard are trying to act too tough or being too nice or wearing too much jewelry or trying too hard to impress people which leads us to number four and this is the final hidden mistake that could destroy a man’s image.
#4.BEING TOO NICE
Every day millions of men struggle with this one simple image problem. And it being too nice. When we are nice to other people, we convey to them that we’re warm caring and trustworthy people to spend time with.
But when we cross that boundary or that threshold and we become too nice. Rather than boosting our image. All that we end up doing is conveying the opposite effect to the other people. The number one thing that so many men struggle with is people-pleasing or being too nice.
And the main reason why this is so bad for us. Is because it makes us come off as being desperate for approval. Which is one of the fastest ways to ruin your image in case you didn’t know.
Now when it comes to your image as a man the best image that you can convey is the one that is authentic. Or the image of the real you and being too nice simply makes you come off as desperate and fake. Now at the end of the day. It not necessarily fair that people judge us so quickly based on how we look or how we act.
