Heard about menstrual cups, I really wanted to work, but struggled to insert them. Here are five reasons.
You might be having a
hard time and exactly how to fix it for a smooth sailing, menstrual cup
experience.
MENSTRUAL CUPS AND IT'S NOT GOING IN POSITION
There's no single right
position to insert the cup. And if you are in the wrong one for you, then that
could definitely be a problem.
The best place to get in
position to insert, it is in the shower.
So, you're not stressing
about messes either, raise one leg onto a stool or go into a deep squat.
A deep squat is the most
successful position for beginners. Because it lets you follow the natural
direction of your vaginal canal.
TYPES OF FOLD IN MENSURATION CUP
Just like positions for
your body. There are also a ton of different folds. You can try to get the cup
in there.
All women’s favorite is the punch down or inward fold, but you can also try the C fold or triangle fold instead.
Find what works for you.
It can make a huge difference to your comfort level.
ANXIETY
This is probably the
number one reason for not being able to insert the cup. Even if you don't think
it is, trusts me.
You don't realize how
much of a role, your mental anxiety plays in tensing, up to your body and your
vagina. what you need to do is actively consciously, relax your body and
imagine your vaginal muscles, relaxing and loose.
Getting frustrated
stressed or scared will only make you tense up and make insertion impossible. So,
get loose and relaxed.
CUP
SIZE
Cups it in your vagina, right under your cervix. So, if you have a low cervix and are using a large cup, it may be super uncomfortable because there just isn't enough vertical space in there for the cup to fit with the entire stem inserted inside.
If you feel like this
might be your problem, try out a smaller cup size. you can also continue to use
the larger cup and just trim down some of the stems with scissors so that none
of it sticks out.
LUBRICATION
Lubrication is more
important than you realize when inserting a cup. If your vaginal canal is dry.
It may feel uncomfortable
to push the cup inside. Try inserting it in the shower, as the water will help.
Add some lubrication.
You can also use some water-based
lubricant to help the cup slip in really easily. we hope this ends your struggle
and helps you finally easily insert your menstrual cup. So, you can experience it.
It's total life-changing benefits. until next time, stay tuned and stay
glamorous.
