You should never forget is what you do says far more about you than what you say. Remember that what you do or how you behave will always say far more about you to someone than you could ever say with your words.
But not only do your actions speak louder than your words. They also happen to be far more accurate.
If you were to come across a lion out in the wild. And seeing you he crouched down into some tall grass without ever taking his eyes off of you. You would probably assume that he’s going to try to kill you. But how do you know this because we all know that lions can’t speak?
The thing is lions like humans can speak volumes to everyone and everything around them without ever saying a word. What many guys don’t realize is that humans operate very similarly to a pack of wolves.
And other animals because we communicate in subtle and oftentimes hidden weight. And we use this communication to tell other people where we stand in regards to other members of a group. In other words whenever we are in a group.
We establish an unconscious structure of social value or status and submission. And the whole point of establishing this structure is to keep everyone in the group in a harmonious state. When you’re at the store and you ask to speak to the manager.
The manager doesn’t walk up say. Hello, I’m the almighty manager in charge of all these peasants here. But he doesn’t announce as behavior in the way that he talks the tone of his voice.
And how the other employees under him respond to his presence on an unconscious level the employees acknowledge that the manager is above them. While they are at their job in the store. And everyone within this structure or the other employees are also acutely aware of this structure and how it affects them and their actions.
And this is what you would call status. But what nobody tells you is that status plays a far bigger role than we want to admit. When it comes to attraction and pretty much every other area of life.
For thousands of years. We have associated status with things like wealth and physical beauty. And even to this day we still do. Pretty much every aspect of our society is driven directly or indirectly by status and the pursuit of it.
And what most men don’t realize is that status is mostly conveyed not by superficial things like a gold watch or a Roll Royce. But rather through subtle behaviors.
Many guys try to use superficial status objects to give the appearance of having status. Which does work on a surface level, but what’s people spend even a small amount of time around these men?
The curtain comes crashing down all because they forget the most important part about communicating high-status. Which their behavior.
So up first is the number one hidden sign. That communicates to other people's high status and it’s slowly relaxed energy.
If you look at pretty much any movie, where a king is portrayed you’ll notice that the king behaves in a very subtle way that lets you the viewer know that he is a king.
And this slow almost still energy or motion communicates his status a hundred times better than a golden crown or drew aligned set of armor ever could.
Men who communicate high status very well move in a slow relaxed manner. While men with low status fidget and move in a quick jerky kind of way. And as mentioned before the head is the most noticeable area, where low-status behavior creeps in.
The next up is the second hidden behavior that most men overlook that communicates high status within a group and it involves effort
In so many different movies you see a character who portrays your stereotypical bad boy who with almost zero effort can make all the ladies chase after him.
Now the best way to describe this is to think of quicksand and in quicksand the more you move. The more you sink.
One of the most effective ways to communicate high status to other people is to achieve the most benefit with the least amount of effort high-status men tend to have many options open to them which means they really don’t need anyone option that much.
And like a king, they are frequently able to get exactly what they want with very little effort. While other men have to put in a ton of effort and end up getting very little reward.
In practical terms, this simply means putting in the least amount of effort needed to achieve your desired result.
For example, if there is a girl that you like. Don’t go to great lengths or put in more effort than is absolutely necessary to achieve the desired result. Which in this situation might be simply getting her attention.
If you’re in the gym lifting weights don’t take every set to failure. If you can achieve your desired result with fewer reps and less energy getting the most reward for the least amount of effort is one of the most effective and hidden behaviors.
That allows a man to communicate high status to other people. Now next up is the third hidden behavior that men can use to communicate to other people that they have high satisfied was in a group and it involves the effect other people have on your behavior.
Imagine how a group of servants react and how their behavior changes. When a king walks into the room. Also think about how the behavior of employees changed, whenever the manager or the boss walks into the room.
The difference between a man who communicates high status in one who communicates low status. It is simply a matter of how other people affect his behavior and how he affects there’s like a king.
Typically a man communicating high status is the one who affects other people’s behavior or causes other people to react to his presence rather than him reacting to theirs. In other words, he portrays himself as the one who is in charge.
Or the one who is seen as the leader. This is precisely widely leadership and status has always gone hand in hand. Such as a king leading his kingdom.
Finally, we have the fourth and final behavior that men can use to communicate status to other people and it has everything to do with the way that you use eye contact. Notice in movies how whenever you have a king who is talking to his servants.
He tends to look past them in the way that he uses eye contact rather than directly at them. Now, this isn’t to say that you were a king and everybody else is your servant.
But rather to illustrate a unique way that high-status men use their eye contact. Will make the other person feel guys like James Bond and other movie characters, who communicate high status.
Always seem to have a unique form of eye contact that is engaging. But at the same time, it almost feels as if they are looking past. You rather than directly into your eyes.
Typically guys who communicate low status will look at you directly into your eyes. And they will end up giving you a hostile kind of feeling almost like they want to fight you or something.
And this is the complete opposite of the feeling that you would get. When a man with high status is looking at you. On the way to this type of man makes you feel it is almost as if he’s looking at you without actually looking at you if that makes sense.
